BioSim Nexus
BioSim Nexus is a near-1:1 physiological simulation environment that reproduces human cardio-pulmonary, neuro-endocrine, renal, and metabolic dynamics down to real-time waveform and lab-value resolution. Every virtual patient is built on coupled differential-equation and agent-based models validated against peer-reviewed clinical data, so pulse pressures, arterial blood gases, electrolyte shifts, drug kinetics, and ventilator interactions behave exactly as they do at the bedside. Instructors can dial in comorbidities, pharmacologic infusions, or procedural complications and watch the platform generate authentic vital-sign trends, POCUS images, and laboratory panels—no pre-baked “scenario branches” required. Trainees must interpret evolving data, adjust interventions, and witness immediate physiologic consequences, reinforcing cause-and-effect learning that mannequins and static cases cannot provide. The result is deeper cognitive retention, safer skill acquisition, and objective performance metrics that translate directly to improved clinical decision-making in real patients.
PoC Nexus
PoC Nexus is a clinician-facing mobile and desktop app that turns bedside findings into an instantly organized clinical snapshot—without storing protected health information. Users enter history, physical-exam notes, lab values, point-of-care ultrasound impressions, radiology or CT reads, and EKG interpretations directly in structured fields. The app auto-classifies each data point under evidence-based condition panels (e.g., sepsis, acute coronary syndrome, stroke, etc.). Embedded treatment protocols—dose calculators, fluid guides, airway checklists—sit one tap away, and every intervention can be time-stamped to build an auditable event log. After the encounter, a replay mode lets users review the full case timeline, correlate actions with physiologic changes, and export de-identified summaries for quality-improvement or teaching. No PHI is saved; all inputs stay local or are deleted on session close, keeping PoC Nexus HIPAA-neutral while giving clinicians a fast, structured way to capture, view, and learn from critical bedside data.
